Pink Cactus started by creating a new logo for S A Kelly which was then applied to business cards and stationery. The website design was next, with concept focusing on showing off the projects completed by S A Kelly.
The homepage features a large image carousel that cycles through some of the main projects, these link to view the gallery for that project or download a PDF case study. The gallery pages contain an animated slide show that cycles through a selection of images for an individual project. The PDF case studies can be used as a promotional device by the client. They can be printed out or emailed to potential customers. All other sections feature a smaller image carousel of projects.
Devoting the top half of the website to images means visitors can quickly see the quality of S A Kelly’s work, the services offered and the type of projects completed. Textual content on the website was kept to a minimum so the images could take centre stage.

Pet Emergency Treatment Services (PETS) is a dedicated out-of-hours service put in place to provide care for your animals when the practice is closed. Their highly experienced and friendly night staff provides complete emergency cover throughout the whole night, every weekend and bank holidays 365 days a year.
Pink Cactus redesigned the Newnham Veterinary Hospital website in 2009/2010 for Newnham Court Veterinary Group, which also owns PETS. The group was so pleased with what we created that they asked us to redesign the website for PETS too.
The website for PETS is a small website that answers 5 simple questions:
- What is PETS
- Who forms PETS
- How to get to the emergency hospital
- What are the opening hours
- How much does it cost

Pink Cactus are pleased to announce that the new, redesigned My Interiors Online has finally gone live.
The site was first launched in 2006. The logo, website design and development were all carried out by the team at Pink Cactus. The design, which was created over three years ago, still looks fresh but the client felt it was time to go for a more luxurious style.
In our re-design we’ve kept the logo and deep red colour from the original website so existing customers would sense some familiarity between the old and new look. We add the touch of luxury by using black for the background instead of the mint green used on the previous site.
As part of the re-design and development we looked at ways of simplifying the user experience as follows:
- No need to create an account to make a purchase
- Simplified the order process
- Simplified the search facility
- Optimised the layout to 1024×768 screen display resolution
- Added a footer that contains help and suggestions
- Incorporated a greater use of imagery

The Veterinary Hospital at Newnham Court, Maidstone, Kent has been established for over 100 years in the Maidstone. The surgery moved to an extensive purpose-built facility in 1990, conveniently situated just out of town, close to J7 of the M20 and with ample parking and easy access.
Website overview
The home page introduces the visitor to Newnham Court Veterinary Group. The design has a fresh feel with clearly defined areas for navigation, contextual adverts and useful information.
A change of logo and colour helps promote the individual branding for the Small Animal Hospital and Equine Clinic. The layout, header and footer remain the same for continuity.
A clear navigation area makes it easy for visitors to find what they’re looking for, as well as highlighting where they are currently. The menu item ‘expands’ to show the sub-navigation for sections where relevant.
The header contains an area for contextual advertising such as pet insurance, out-of-hours services, emergency contact details or free zone visits. Also within the header are quick links to the Small Animal Hospital and Equine Clinic.
The right-hand column contains a ‘useful tips and information box’, where the content would be selected at random. Below that, the promotional panels help to highlight services and/or sections within the website.
Ways of getting in contact and opening times are contained within an omnipresent footer.

Club 76 is Maidstone’s premier gentlemen’s club offering lap and exotic dancing for your enjoyment. Located on ‘raunchy’ Bank Street, Club 76 is the first and only club to offer pole dancing and full nudity lap dancing in Maidstone.
Pink Cactus created a simple website to help promote the lap dancing night, as part of the marketing campaign for Club 76.
The web site structure is XHTML and CSS2 with embedded Flash animations to add interest to the main pages.
The site also includes Google Maps API. This was used, so the power of Google maps could be embedded into the Club 76 website with a custom place marker to pin point the location on the map. Take a look at the final solution at www.club76.co.uk/location
